Keeping Cool

I've had a 70 mile round trip to Oswestry and back in a car with no aircon, phew.  I stopped in the lovely village of Whittington on the way back for a sit in the shade beside the Castle pool where I was greeted by the usual welcome committee of white ducks, mallards and a few doves.  Sadly I didn't have any proper food for them so they soon got fed up.  I think the Coot family have the right idea though sitting on their raft nest and just popping into their swimming pool any time they wish.

On my return home we've had a text from SevernTrent Water to say that our water supply is going to be restricted and at the time of posting we have no water at all - we have wine though so perhaps I'll try to do a reverse miracle???!
