An offering

If I was going to take a photo representing today it would have been a flurry of emails. Or, if I could have found a cat and a group of pigeons,  that would have worked. As I photographed neither I had to go looking for something this evening and this is all I found, looking very peaceful and not representing today at all. 

The heat got to me today. I really feel for the fire fighters on Saddleworth moor.
