Bumble bee

Went for a walk with K & A. Corstorphine Hill again. It was a lovely place when we did it in the depths of Winter. It was truly gorgeous in summer. 

We had a nice catch-up and then I caught the bus back into town. 

A took me paddle boarding on the canal. It is harder than it looks. Imagine a squashed kayak which is stable enough to stand on, and a very long oar. I thought it would be possible to paddle along at about the pace of a bicycle. We couldn't even keep up with the walkers on the canal path. 

A tram home on the longest day. I felt my lothian buses day ticket was a real bargain.
