Cassowary

There are two fences stopping us getting too close to this bird at Birdland basically because it can eviscerate you with its claw.  Unusually today this female paused in just the right place for my lens to focus through the wire and catch a shot. Prehistoric or what? I reckon she is giving me the eye.
