Da Itching Stane

Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning, and Scalloway has been basking in sunshine all day and night, 21 degrees at lunchtime!  Made my way to work, and Lerwick was cold and misty all day!

I was working in the museum office most of the day.  I got pulled away from my photos, and had to help get crafts packs ready for the events for this coming weekend's events.  In the afternoon I was on the desk, and a busy time with events on today.  After tea a long walk to Burra with Sammy, Julie and Keba.  A cuppa with Julie's mam Lorraine.  She gave us a lift back to Scalloway, and then rushed off to work in the pub.

What a beautiful evening for a walk, sunshine all the way.  Not so many rabbits for the dogs tonight, but many other animals popped up to see us.  A field of Shetland cows were busy guarding their calves from Sammy and Keba, but this old cow had a problem of an itch.  This old itching stone soon helped her reach the back of the neck, problem solved.  Taken near the Burra brig, Trondra.
