Come home to a real fire

Normally, when up in the Lake District the sight of an open log fire in the barn by Ashness Bridge would be a welcome sight, somewhere to warm up and dry off a little.

Today, with temperatures in the high 20s in the shade, and heading towards 40 in direct sunlight, it did seem a little odd.
