Dead

We have several of these irises (I think they are!)  and the flowers have recently died, but they are still very pretty - in fact almost nicer than when they were in full bloom.
Choir practise tonight and we were useless! The choir master even threw himself onto the floor during "Bridge over Troubled Water" when we reached the bit that says "I will lay me down" as he thought that if he acted it out we might improve. I think the heat had got to us - and to him. 
Off to Heathrow tomorrow. I may not be around much for a while. We'll see.
