Blooming marvellous

Long day. Some panicking when, with the car loaded a mere 5 minutes late for leaving for the airport, I lost the car keys. Somehow, in the frenzied searching, CarbBoy found the spare keys I had forgotten we had, and all was well.

Good flight (i.e., the tea was borderline drinkable and there was no turbulence), tediously long car hire process (but not as long as the Swiss family next to me who were shamefully upsold to the tune of 60 pounds a day, and he hadn't even got into the insurances... Then off to Mrs B senior for an entertaining (and for CarbBoy, carb-tastic) visit, before the road south to scorchio West Northumberland.

As you can see, this is a great time of year for Mam's garden, which seems to be shrugging off the heatwave.
