The Pentalina, home for the night after its last crossing to Caithness.

Had a lovely day on Westray. Everyone so friendly and cheerful. Joining in the custom of waving at each car that you pass you can't help but feel 'welcomed'.

I had a spare couple of hours before the return ferry and visited the excellent Hertage Centre in Pierowall. Lots of interesting local information - and a moving exhibition documenting life during wartime for this island community.
