Making use of the shonky French broadband to catch up on some blips in the middle of our ski week.

Bri skis on telemark skis. He says that this is to basically to slow him down after a nasty accident on his snowboard a few years ago (although I have to say, he's not all that slow nowadays), but I suspect that's it at least partially because, when he doesn't fall over, it looks really cool too.

Our first trip across to Les Arcs this week (via the Vanoise Express).

We blasted up and down the tree-lined red runs until our legs turned to jelly. I was practising some drills and my short turns. As fast as I could go.
