Rapids

Today is our last full day with Jo-Anne. We had a busy day touring her favourite local spots. A lovely lunch in Saint Anne de Bellevue overlooking a canal and the St Lawrence River. The St Lawrence seaway was in the distance. Our last stop of the outing was to a bird sanctuary where we saw the St Lawrence river rapids. We were lucky to see three rafts and a kayak passing by. I had no idea there were rapids on this river.
We will not forget our time in Montreal or the wonderful generosity of Jo-Anne.
