Afternoon tea- sluurrp.
It didn't stop at one. In the time I stood there, about 10 minutes it had 6. Marine worms of some type rather than eels I think. Let me know if you think otherwise.
An extra of the white faced heron in a different stance as something caught its eye.
The tide was just going out so good time for feeding. After a cloudy start the day did turn out very sunny. Trev and I ventured to Nelson and Richmond for some shopping and lunch of course. The main street in Richmond has been closed off and on for well over 12 months while its drains were renewed. It does look very smart. Over time and over budget but hopefully the crowds that stayed away will come back.
