Spare Time
Had to take Cheryl down to her work today to talk about some shift changes so while she was in there I went for a wee wander round the graveyard at Old Pentland.
It was the first time I've ever been in it and was amazed at how small it is. It has a lovely big crypt at the top right hand corner and the gravestones are so old, some even go back to the times of the Knight Templars so that's back to the days of Robert the Bruce.
I had so many good shots of the graveyard but I've plumped for this mono shot as I liked the way the sun was hitting the gravestone and the black shadows cast by the trees across the width of the graveyard. I thoroughly enjoyed my little visit to this historic and beautiful place. What a nice way to spend a bit of spare time.
