30 Days Wild - 26 - Heracleum sphondylium

Another day busy with the studio accounts, must have everything filed, logged today. I took a break to go to the tip again and stopped to take some more roadside verge shots for my Wild series.

I love the slight pinkishness the hogweed has just before the florets open. All of them were covered in flies but I hadn't noticed the one hanging on underneath, or its mate on the stalk.

It was far too hot to do my walk/jog whlie we were out this afternoon so I got on with more paperwork then went out again later..
