Sunset Flight

We spent the day on Karavostasi Beach, nr Agios Nikolaos, Crete, coming back to our apartment to relax in the room and watch the sunset from the balcony.

As I watched planes coming into land at Heraklion Airport I had my camera poised when this bird flew across and I managed to grab it directly above the setting sun.

Whilst Mrs BB read her book in the room I headed for the bar across the road to watch the England v Belgium match. Belgium were the better team, winning 0-1. At least we're through to the next round.
