watercolor example portrait

I did this as an example of painting a watercolor portrait for my class of ladies today. It was from a photo of my eldest son (who is now 30!) The ladies have done some lovely watercolors during the course and today was their final lesson of the beginners course. I will run some more courses after Christmas as it is now less than two weeks until I'm off on my cruise.....yippee....can't wait! I expect I will end up teaching some classes on the ship.
