About to burn off

Was up early with the dog, and was convinced it was going to be another haar-hidden heatwave. 

It was nice to be proved wrong - the rest of the day was scorchio. 

Up in the West End for a Coldsville practice later. Trains from Haymarket to Waverley were cancelled, and as I set out walking, it looked like a lot of people had been both drinking in the sun and drinking, in the sun.
