Dementia...

This morning we had another meeting to help anyone who was trying these Duke of York awards and having difficulties. And our chair told me that my bronze certificate had arrived from Buckingham Palace signed by none other than Andrew. She gave it to me but took it back when she asked what I was going to do with it and I replied put it in the bin. She wants a photograph of me being presented with it. So joy of joys I suppose this will happen at Tuesdays Coffee Morning. Not that I mind having a photograph taken. So I don't know whether she wants to keep it on behalf of U3A forever or will then give it to me to bin... 
This afternoon we had a presentation on dementia. A very interesting insight into how the mind of someone with dementia may see the world and well worth attending.
