Disarray

A day in Glasgow in blazing heat (32 degrees!). Started with meeting up with VickyG, once I’d navigated the first bit of closed streets as a result of one big fire, to hear all about the other fire at the Art School. Couldn’t face going to see it-heartbreaking.

Then an away day with another organisation before dashing home....arrived at the station to find lots of afternoon trains had been cancelled so our train was crammed full then proceeded to travel at only 20mph because the “extreme heat” had affected the points and signals. We really can’t cope with anything out of the usual range here!
Listened to more of my Val McDermid book all the way home but pretty wiped out when I finally got in
