Holy Isle from Whiting Bay
I used to go to Whiting Bay on Arran at Easter and September Weekends but that was a long time ago. They tended to be quite raucous and not really about scenery. Today I walked up to the Glenashdale Falls then on to the Neolithic 'Giants Graves'. Birds were pretty invisible in the woods; insects flying in the hot sun were more obvious- lots of tiger beetles, red damselflies and a few common hawker (I think) dragonflies.
