As pants the hart....

As pants the hart for cooling streams
  When heated in the chase,


goes the hymn. 


The cooling streams were much needed today and this is the one at home that runs into our pond.


I took the picture at 8.00pm this evening when the temperature was still around 24 degrees.   It was much warmer in Dunoon during the day but it did not distract from a series of good meetings including one to take forward the resolution of the "Jim Crow" rock issue .   Wonderful help with this from Lorna Hood and Eleanor MacMahon, to whom I am very grateful.
