Painted pebble

There is a trend for kids to paint small pebbles and then leave them around the town on doorsteps or in crevices in stone walls, for instance.  They may have the name of a location or a message or a little picture painted on them.
Other people must pick them up because I rarely see one twice.
I will 'collect' them photographically.
