Flower Friday ~ Parrot's Beak

The official name for this is lotus berthelotii. I think parrot's beak describes it much better.

I was out this morning watching the Anna fiercely guarding his reclaimed territory, while one of the black chinned hummers was on the other side of the yard guarding his territory. 

I am grateful that Fridays are "no brainers" for what my picture will be. Thank you Anni for your dedication through thick and thin hosting this challenge. Sending you hugs.
