The Great North Road

A day working from home. It was great to see Immy for lunch, her uni term finished a week ago but she’s been on a quick holiday in Scotland before coming home. She’s off again on Sunday to Kefalonia!!

This evening I (Chris) have driven up to Darlington with Rosie and tomorrow we’ll be driving a few more miles up to Newcastle for the university open day. It’s been a long drive (240 miles) but pretty trouble free apart from a couple of sections of the A1M being closed. The first diversion gave a photo opportunity so we had a quick stop and I clambered over a hedge to capture the view.
