FlowerFriday29_2018 Mini Gladioli

These pretty flowers caught my attention in the supermarket yesterday, with colours much more subtle than the usual larger variety.
Today the heatwave continued, with blue skies throughout the day.  It was also a busy one in our household as the new front doors were being fitted.  Fortunately Mr MC was on hand to supervise and so Daughter #1, Violet and I were free to go to Forty Hall to meet Violet's friend S and her mummy for a picnic lunch - see my extra pic.
