golden glow

The weekend has arrived so after a busy day at work I arranged to meet up with my birding mates to go on our yearly adventure in search of Nightjars .
We was rewarded with a couple of them churring and flying around . One flew straight in front of me but as it was fairly dark I was not able to get any shots as they dont come out until its nearly dark. We also saw and heard a couple of owls. this shot was taken while we waited for it to get dark as the sun was setting on the day.
