Venus...

I thought it looked a bit bright to be a star. EcoDad suggested that it might indeed be Venus and the Google Sky Map application on my phone was able to wind back the clock to this morning when I took it and confirm it exactly.

Venus also added another wee rule to my 'watch out for that whilst on the bike' list. This morning, lesson learned was, 'Look back before you mount your bike to get back on the path after taking a photo of Venus lest there be no other cyclist coming up the path silently and at speed."
