Landscape layers

From the beach this morning looking north towards the World Heritage Site. The Greater Black Backed Gull luckily added an extra interest.

The extra tell a little story. In the top picture the youngsters were having a party on the shore with mother duck looking out for danger.
Good thing she was for 20 seconds later four legged mischief came hurtling down the sand and ducklings were paddling for their lives.

Finally this afternoon brought disaster when the on/off lever on my Lumix FZ300 snapped off. So its back to John Lewis. Retrieve my old FZ200 from eldest son and in the meantime use iPhone and IPad. C’est la vie. At least it happened after we got back from holiday.
