Today was UK Armed Forces Day in Scarborough . . . but I stayed at home . . . the RAF Douglas C-47 Dakota ZA947 arrived early and went into a holding pattern right over our garden . . . one of the most successful aircraft designs in history, seemingly to ourselves for 3 passes . . . how grand was that !
