Fairs Fair

I would've liked longer to get the shot I wanted. I ended up with a choice of this one where its over blurry and out of focus, or another that was in focus and crisp but no rides were in actions. gah! I do like the fact you can see L & J walking unintentionally towards the camera in this one though.

Fair was good though. L's first time being old enough to soak up the atmosphere. We had some vouchers in the local paper but the prices were still pretty ouchie. E insisted she wanted to go on FEAR. It was a twisted version of a ghost house. So determined she was even going to go on by herself but J thought better of it and accompanied her. Apparently she lasted a few seconds before trying to run out. It was dark in there with mirrors and J actually had to restrain her from running straight into the walls. She came off pale and quiet and then the tears started. Ooops. As parents you kinda know when your kid isnt going to like something and despite a little bit of advice, sometimes you have to let them decide for themselves. Shes gone to bed with the hallway light on, some tissues for the tears and her teddy. She whispered in my ear shes worried about getting the electric chair and having to have a hood over her head.

I got up to do my 10 mins morning exercises today and hurt my knee again doing the warm up. Think Im going to have to bite the bullet and see someone about it. Had to cancel my training this evening but hoping itll be ok for tomorrow instead.
