Extreme Heat....

and this fiery plant in my neighbours' garden is obviously enjoying it :)

After the online delivery at 9am (perfect timing), I did manage to cut the grass patch before it got too hot.  I also gave Billy's tree a major trim, not without a bit of sadness as none of the sweet peas I planted under there have really grown to anything (the ones in the pot are just starting to flower :))

Then rest and recuperation with all the windows and door wide open, so I could just chill out and relax.  I admit to dozing too :)

Guess what - no Casualty tonight, but not due to football - must be the end of the series :(

Now some batch cooking to do and to freeze :)
