Both tired and headachey today, and with serious holiday blues.

I’ve also got a cold which is the worst when it’s 28 degrees all day (it still is now and it’s nearly 7.30pm). To be fair I think I feel better today than I did last night so hopefully it’s on it’s way out.

We walked to Nightingale Valley this afternoon because it would be shady, even though the whole walk was in solid sunshine. We both managed to cross this stream without falling in.

Got ice cream from Sainsbury’s on the way home and ate it in Arnos Vale Park, and have been lounging at home ever since.


Oh! And the basil plant survived! I made a DIY feeding setup consisting of string and a jug full of water and it worked! So proud.
