Globe Thistle

Close up the globe thistle is pretty when it is in bloom. This particular clump is struggling because it is competing with the red raspberry patch.

When blooming, these selfless act as magnets to honeybees, wasps, bumblebees and the like! There should be a perfusion of blooming next week.
