Sun up on Male Chamois

Woke up at silly o'clock this morning in the little hut at Anzeindaz. Initially the shadow of the mountain helped me in that I saw a small herd of Mums and babies just before they saw me (see extra for one mum and her baby). The sun was full on me as I neared the top of the mountain and this big male got as much of a shock as I did, to see someone come over the summit so early! I thought he was rather handsome and still in his shaggy winter coat.

A very busy day on my return and it is not finished yet as I prepare to leave for Kandersteg tomorrow.
