Vaguely Marvellous

A restful Saturday.

A lovely man came and bought my Pashley bicyclw. He had already bought his wife a red one, his mum a white one and now he has my blue one for his dad. He was French, and his dad lives on an island off the coast of France, and apparently his dad keeps nicking his mum's.... I was so enamoured of him and his story I almost gave him the bike for free. Either way I am delighted it is going to a nice home.

Spent the rest of the day knitting, sitting in the sun, sitting in the shade, watching the football, knitting a bit more. Delicious.

And now I am, unusually, on my own on a Saturday night, while Marc has gone to his old mate Tom's surprise camping birthday party in Stroud.
