Sunny

Hooray for the lovely sunny weather this week. It is just what’s needed to encourage strong growth of the sunflowers I planted from seed back in the spring. Friends and colleagues are doing the same, and we’re all nurturing our sunflowers in fond memory of a young man of whom we all thought highly. Sadly his life ended, much too soon, as the year began. This is a happy way to remember him.
