The return

Our hotel in Morecambe was on the sea front and the traffic disturbed us throughout the night.

After an average breakfast we set off home. With the satnav advising us of delays and my map reading we kept moving.

We’ve picked up Murphy and he was delighted to see us.

Some of the new plants in the garden haven’t voted well with the heat. HtP and I have watered them and we will see how they recover.

As it was so hot we took the boys for a walk in Micheldever wood. We saw two deer but luckily the boys didn’t.

Now I’ve dropped HtP off home. I think that I’ll do my unpacking tomorrow.

Looking forward to the next adventure at the beginning of August when we are taking Murphy to the Lake District
