Dropped my love and granddaughter off at the airport this morning. (See extra.) They've flown across Canada to Nova Scotia to visit family and friends there for a week.
Meanwhile I'm holding down the fort at my daughters' home with 2 out of 4 grandkids while her and hubby headed to Whistler overnight. I had planned on staying another night anyway to get some things for the house so was happy to help them out.
This mat lies outside my daughters backyard patio doors and it caught my eye. Home is such a big word encompassing so much, evoking all kinds of memories and even though her home is very lovely, it's not my home.
Tomorrow I will once again drive the 2 and a bit hours north to my new home on the mountain. I'll be stretched this week as I'll be there all alone, living in a wee trailer hoping my imagination doesn't run rampant. It's a good kind of stretching me thinks as I believe I'll be much stronger because of it.
I continue to be grateful your support. I'm feeling so stretched with all the change and upheaval and just can't seem to find the time nor energy to respond but I do thank you and appreciate your visits to my journal.
