Back together

Today was a bit of a nightmare. After Lincoln came down with strep throat again yesterday, he had a day off with Dad planned. At 5am he woke up crying. I went in to find him with blood all over his face, arm and pillow. It was definitely coming from his mouth so I rushed him off to the after hours, not wanting to wait the 3 hours until the gp opens. When he got examined they established that the bleeding was from the throat swab taken yesterday. It had grazed the roof of his mouth and he must have scratched at it in the night and made it bleed... a lot.
We got home just in time for me to dress Elliott and take him to pre school. A bit of a challenging day with less sleep than usual.
