Roadtrip with friends for a couple of nights in Argyll.

We started with the ferry from Wemyss Bay to Rothesay, getting up on the bridge to say hello to the captain too.

Then a wander round Rothesay, cuppa and a quick drive to the Colintraive Ferry - a puddle jump across for a lovely lunch looking back towards Bute.

In the cars again for a great drive down through Tighnabruaich and Kames to Portavadie Marina, where we had a couple of luxury nights booked.

First dip in the outdoor infinity pool - yup, in Scotland! And a fab meal in the restaurant.

Our decision to take a week off and stay at home looks like a good one...
