Red Hot July Day!

Went out early to find a blip and this "Purple Smoke" (clotinus sp.) tree in full red bloom seemed to say it all on this record braking hot day.
Before 8 a.m.  it was only 78º . That is enough for me, but it will rise... I expect the temperature will not reach 100ºF/ 37ºC. If that give me any consolation.
As much as our winter climate is changing to longer and colder, it looks like our summer will change too.

My friend will arrive this afternoon for a 2 day sleepover... She can get the room with the a/c. I will take the fan.

UPSATE:
It reached 105ºF this afternoon! That is higher than we ever get in summer ... Tomorrow could be the same
