Welcome rain

It was so nice to have some rain after all the blistering heat. I am not sure people were expecting it though, as we saw lots of people out and about without coats, resembling drowned rats!

The rain kindly held off for my plod to church to ring the bells. It kicked off once we were safely in the car, heading to Exeter. Leo indulged in a few model poses whilst we hung around in M&S, waiting for Ian to buy some new clobber (extra).

The rest of the day has been nice and leisurely. I have done a bit of crochet - not much though as I skinned my finger on the rope this morning and it is rather sore.

I may have a treat of a nice early night with a cuppa and book later :)
