Cherry jam

Actually, we were going to make jam next weekend. We buy the cherries from a farmer in the same village and I was told that they are pretty much the last ones for this year. The warm weather and the hungry birds will soon put an end to the cherry harvest.

The fruits had the perfect size to pitted with this sort of (manual) machine. Better to do it outside, because the cherries do splash.
