Birmingham

Well, another hectic day. Up early and in for a busy teaching day - one of the longest in the week. Towards the end of the day, I was able to leave slightly earlier in order to catch my train to Birmingham. It was packed when I boarded, but emptied out as it made the slow journey through the Midlands to arrive at New Street. The station had been improved since I last visited, but was still New Street... Out to my hotel - got a nice quiet room on the top floor, and out for a drink before retreating to my hotel room.
