It was roasting at the Scottish game fair today. I found a place selling cooling dog rugs so we bought two. They definitely made a difference and hopefully will be handy for gathering sheep this week. You soak the rugs in water ring them out and put them on the dogs. As the water evaporates it keeps the dog cool.

 A nice day browsing, we met up with husbands brother, step dad and our wee niece at the fair and browsed for a time with them. We did get distracted by chudleys dog food being sold for £10 a bag. I feed ours on chudleys so we bought 2 bags (all we could carry back to the pick up!!) Next door was csj food I've been communicating with a stockists nearby who's waiting on an order coming in and I'm going to give it a try with the dogs. So we got some sample bags and the women fed the dogs treats. Although Duke was too distracted by the scurry he really wanted a go he was singing whining. Unfortunately he does not retrieve at all or we would have let him! We got recognised several times and even had a photo taken with someone!
