A well deserved shandy and Italian meal

It’s been a trying day. Arrived at the railway station to discover my Grand Central train was cancelled and worse still the new owners of the east coast line, LNER would not allow us on. So train to Sheffield then after just under an hour slow train to London via East Midlands. Crowded, hot and uncomfortable. So arrived over two hours behind schedule. Shower and a rest and decided to treat myself to an old fashioned Italian meal at Casa Mamma’s which I past on way to my travel lodge.

I treated myself to a cooling lager shandy, bruschetta and lasagne. I am full and almost ready for bed. Last conference tomorrow and an early start so need my sleep.
