The garden has survived...

...despite the crazy high temperatures...
Back after 5 days in the NE. Roy soaked the garden before we left, and set up the watering system Mark2 for the hanging baskets. This works with lines from the water butt, and we've rarely needed to use it... Most things have survived after a fashion, though the grass is looking rather scrubby ;)
Phone still crackling and broadband still rubbish, so guess I'll have to psych myself up for another extended call to BT. Thank goodness for the 4G network ;)
