Surprise

A nice surprise.  This wee flower appeared above the sea of blue campanula today.  A brodiaea, a Californian prairie bulb which in nature flowers in the grassy sward as the weather hats up at the start of Summer.  It loves the warm, dry, sunny spot in my sand bed.   I don’t remember planting it so it might be a self sown seedling ... or it might not :-)


Ruth’s 21st next weekend and we’ve been hatching a plan for a weekend away together.  Finding accessible accommodation for our two wheelchair users, with air conditioning, has been unreasonably time consuming (and frustrating) but today all was sorted :-)


In the evening cool another two troughs were born :-)


That makes three :-) so it must have been a good day in the end!
