Silly Saturday

We were invited this morning for Frühschoppen at our friend's bar in Gmünd to celebrate her 25 years in business. Frühshoppen is literally 'morning pint' but we decided to be healthy for once and had one of her naturally flavoured homemade lemonades. We ate a Steckelfisch for lunch (trout roasted over hot coals as in the extra) and decided a crisp white wine (or two) would go well with it.
We headed out to Fromberg next where the annual parachuting festival opened today. We watched the Pink Skyvan pick up jumpers from the field, mostly tandem, then drop them off so they landed right in front of the tables where we were seated. I am not sure why the company/plane is called Pink Skyvan as this one is yellow.They must have more than one plane as they operate in several countries in Europe.
We dropped Hubby home so he could do some work in the yard while my girlfriend and I went shopping. 
In the evening we had a farewell BBQ at home as my friend leaves for Australia tomorrow
