Jerome

On our shopping trip over the mountain to Prescott we passed through Jerome Arizona, an old mining town turned art and craft and tourist destination. It's bustling most every day of the year baring possibly a snow or two. The road is a climb of 1500 ft or so from the surrounding area of the Verde Valley. This is the Flat Iron cafe at the Y in the highway that climbs to 7000 ft at its summit.
